Lets continue on with our series on Vitamins and talk about Vitamin C. Here are the symptoms of this deficiency along with other important details. And as always if you suspect you are deficient or having health issues please, speak with your doctor about them: Better safe than sorry.

Signs of Deficiency: Fatigue, depression, gingivitis, red spots or lines on finger nails, easy bruising, dry skin, weak immune system.

Daily Requirement: The daily requirements for this vitamin is 2000 mg (increase to 3000 if you feel a cold coming on) Job: This main role if this vitamin is to support our cardiovascular health and immune function. This vitamin also strengthen bones and teeth, and aids in wound healing. Common food sources:(healthy foods to eat) Apricots, Asparagus, Banana, Berries, Carrots, Cauliflower, Cantaloupe, Cucumbers, Grapes, Green Beans, Green peas, Kiwi, Lettuce, Lemon, Mango, Orange, Peppers, Pineapple, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Watermelon Nice and simple, that's how I roll.
